Weather Update 7/30

More Rain and Thunderstorms Target East this Week

-The Eastern U.S. can expect more active weather this week. A slow moving cold front will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday.

-A cold front will move through the Great Lakes and the Midwest Monday. There will be spotty showers and a couple thunderstorms well ahead of the front across the Great Lakes and Northeast.

-Showers and thunderstorms will continue to soak places like Boston, New York, and Washington D.C. Tuesday night and Wednesday.

-Another 1-3 inches of rain will likely fall across the Northeast this week. There can be locally more. With the slow-moving nature of the cold front, there can be some flooding issues.
