Commercial Cleaning Systems Helps Save A Floating Preschool
After the devastating 1000 year flood on May 1st of this year, much of "Music City" was left under water resulting in a number of deaths and widespread property damage. At the center of the tragedy, is the Lighthouse School and the family who has been running it since 2003; the Sweatt Family. The school became nationally known when news stations featured footage of their preschool building floating down the interstate. 
Eight of their eighteen buildings were damaged beyond repair in the storms, and their preschool was completely demolished. Their finances nearly depleted, they did not have the resources to find skilled labor to rebuild the school. Lighthouse has been developing young minds for more than 30 years and the Sweatt family was faced with the brutal reality of having to shut down the entire school.
Despite the extensive damage to their facility, the Sweatt family spearheaded recovery efforts, and to-date have helped over 200 families. Many families had no place to turn and no idea of what steps to take until the Sweats supported them with their guidance.
The spirit of Nashville came alive when some of country's most celebrated performers descended upon the Sweatts and the school that has touched the hearts of thousands. In just seven days, team leader Ty Pennington, designers Leigh Anne Tuohy, Paul DiMeo, and Tracy Hutson with LP Building Products, Hardaway Construction, and Commercial Cleaning Systems transformed lives and built a beautiful 6,500 square foot facility!
Commercial Cleaning Systems assisted by providing drying and cleaning services, including dehumidification and round-the-clock monitoring and labor, to expedite the drying of the drywall, primer, and paint in the interior and exterior of the home. The project was completed September 10-17 in Antioch, TN.
