DKI (Disaster Kleenup International) has been selected as the exclusive dry down and cleaning vendor for Season 8 of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. 

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is a reality television series that provides home renovations for deserving families.  Host Ty Pennington takes viewers through each episode that features a family that facing a recent or ongoing hardship, such as a natural disaster or a family member with a life-threatening illness.

The home’s makeover includes interior, exterior and landscaping, which is performed in seven days while the family is sent on vacation. Many skilled and unskilled volunteers assist in the rapid construction of the house.

DKI is North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization with locations across the United States and Canada.  DKI Member Companies are helping change people’s lives by voluntarily facilitating the dry down and cleaning necessary to complete these important projects.   Since 1974, DKI Member Companies have restored properties that have suffered from wind, fire or water damage back to their pre-loss condition.
